Catalysis and membrane technology

Catalysis is utilized for the preparation for the majority of chemical products. Because it leads to less energy consumption and waste, catalysis is one of the main topics in green chemistry. We develop catalyst materials mainly for the oxidative coupling of methane, oxidative dehydrogenation of propane, dry-reforming of methane, activation of CO2 and CH4 as well as for photocatalytic water. Furthermore, we focus on the development of ceramic membranes for gas separation, high temperature catalysis and catalytic membrane reactors.
